This is a 1.5 hour boat tour of Glen Canyon Dam and Antelope Canyon.  This tour operator allows you to bring your own food and drink; they provide water, lemonade, and coffee.  Individual audio sets are included on the tour, and are available in several languages.

Take a sunrise, sunset, or mid-day tour of the flooded section of Antelope Canyon.  Tours last 3 to 3.5 hours. Beginning kayakers are encouraged to take the sunrise tour as the waters are calmer in the morning hours.  Through this company, you can package your kayaking trip with a tour through Lower Antelope Canyon with Dixie Ellis Tours.

Lake Powell Paddle Boards and Kayaks

Offers a 3-hour tour for beginners and a 5-hour tour for advanced kayakers/paddle boarders.  You get to choose your mode of transportation. They provide all safety gear, snacks and water on the trip.  There is a short lesson on how to use the equipment for beginners. There is a hike during the 5-hour tour. All tours leave early in the morning.

Take a 3 to 4 hour guided kayak tour through the flooded portion of Antelope Canyon.  The tour accepts beginners as well as advanced kayakers. They provide the kayaks, snacks, dry bags on your tour.  Depending on the level of the lake, there will be some hiking during this tour. If you’re worried about your camera, the guides will be taking some photos during the trip, which they provide to you at no extra charge.

Self Guided

Take in the sights of Lake Powell at your own pace.   You can stop wherever you want on the lake to hike, take pictures, and have lunch.  You can launch all forms of lake transportation at Wahweap Marina and Antelope Point Marina.  If you’re renting kayaks or paddle boards, you could also take off from Lone Rock. There are several places in town where you can rent lake equipment if you haven’t brought your own.  These vendors will help you load your equipment onto the roof of your car or in a trailer. The lake is always changing depending on the amount of water let through at the dam. Make sure you download a map of Lake Powell through Google maps, and talk to the employees at your rental service.  These people are locals, who spend their lives on the lake; they are eager to share ips on where to stop on our self-guided tour.
